{"id":11964,"date":"2024-11-06T11:34:55","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T17:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/winwinwomen.com\/?p=11964"},"modified":"2024-11-06T11:36:21","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T17:36:21","slug":"wednesday-wisdom-how-are-you-choosing-to-respond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/winwinwomen.com\/?p=11964","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Wisdom: How Are You Choosing to Respond?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My Dear Friends,<\/p>\n<p>As I thought about my message this week &#8211; during such a tumultuous time &#8211; my heart urged me to share my thoughts about something we are all blessed with\u2026 it\u2019s actually our superpower\u2026 the magnificent power of <b>choice<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, within each one of us is the ability and the <b>ever-present possibility of choosing how we respond to everything around us<\/b>\u2026 to everything we hear, read, see\u2026 we can choose our responses to it all.<\/p>\n<p>Today I lovingly invite you to <b>notice your reactions<\/b> to the contention and conflict in the world. Then, ask yourself two important questions: <i>\u201cHow am I choosing to respond to the negativity around me\/all of us?\u201d<\/i> And,<i> \u201cDo my words and actions add to the contention or to the goodness in the world?\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>My friends, I love that we have the opportunity each day of our lives to stand as beacons of light; to hold our lights high so we can light the way for others. This is a choice that begins with our thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I understand that there are days that we\u2019re simply not as strong as other days, and days that we doubt that our good examples make any difference at all. However, I promise you that if you look for the good \u2013 if you seek the sunlight instead of the storms \u2013 and if you continue doing your best to lighten the loads and lift the hearts of those who are traveling this \u201cearth path\u201d with you, your efforts will not be in vain.
