As we walk through the \u201cadventure\u201d called life, we each learn valuable life lessons – in our personal and professional lives. Today I\u2019ll share five things I\u2019ve learned that have helped me through both challenges and triumphs.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

As a global mentor for women, I know that leadership is not just about leading others\u2014it\u2019s about leading ourselves with grace, courage, and confidence. Here are five things I suggest we all do to lead and live joyfully:<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"\"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n

  1. Be Genuine; Authentic
    <\/b>As a leader, when you come from a place of authenticity and truth, you can more effectively connect and collaborate with people who align with your values.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Take Good Care of Yourself
      <\/b>Taking good care of yourself is not a luxury, it\u2019s a necessity to maintain your physical, emotional, and mental health for optimal well-being, and to sustain functioning on the highest level, especially as a leader who constantly gives to others.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Build Meaningful Connections
        <\/b>Seek relationships with people who lift you and encourage your growth, and who will be there when you need help. A supportive network is a great asset that can bless your life in countless ways.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Embrace Lifelong Learning
          <\/b>Always be curious. Knowledge can potentially improve your life on many levels. Leaders should never stop learning and encouraging others to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. Lead with Unshakeable Confidence
            <\/b>Believe in yourself, even when the path seems uncertain. Your \u201cI can do this!\u201d confidence will not only help you, but also inspire those around you to believe in themselves.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            It is my hope that as we travel through life\u2019s \u201cadventures\u201d we\u2019ll lead and live joyfully. If you need me – for any reason – I\u2019m here for you.<\/p>\n
